Summary

This study compares two types of nerve blocks (pectoral nerve block vs. paravertebral block) given during mastectomy to see which better prevents chronic pain. Ninety women aged 20-65 undergoing mastectomy will be randomly assigned to one of the two blocks. The goal is to reduce the chance of long-term neuropathic pain after surgery.
