NCT ID NCT03796572

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether giving children a nerve block before elbow fracture surgery can help control pain afterward and reduce the need for strong painkillers like oxycodone. About 90 children with a specific type of elbow fracture will be randomly assigned to receive either the nerve block or standard care. Parents will report on their child's pain and satisfaction for about one week after surgery.
