First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving children a nerve block in the arm before elbow fracture surgery can reduce pain and the need for opioid painkillers afterward. About 90 children with closed elbow fractures will be randomly assigned to receive either the nerve block or standard care. Their pain levels and satisfaction will be tracked for about one week after surgery.
