Summary
This study tests whether a newer, easier-to-use material called NeoPUTTY works as well as the standard MTA for saving permanent back teeth with severe nerve inflammation in children aged 9 to 14. Both materials are used to cover the remaining healthy nerve after removing the diseased part, aiming to keep the tooth alive and avoid extraction. Forty-six children were randomly assigned to receive one of the two materials and were followed for a year to check for pain, infection, and healing.
