NCT ID NCT07356583
Summary
This study aims to understand how common and severe enterovirus infections are in newborns in Italy, with a focus on a specific strain called Echovirus 11. Researchers will collect and analyze samples from 1,600 babies admitted to neonatal intensive care units to learn more about the virus's spread and identify factors linked to serious illness. The goal is to gather better information to help detect and respond to these infections in the future.
