First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving the drug lenvatinib before surgery can help doctors more completely remove advanced thyroid cancer that has spread outside the gland. About 30 adults with this type of cancer will receive lenvatinib for a short time before their operation. The main goal is to see if more surgeries result in clear or nearly clear margins, meaning less cancer left behind.
