First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving immunotherapy drugs (cemiplimab alone or with fianlimab) before surgery can shrink advanced basal cell skin cancers on the head and neck. About 70 adults will receive 2 to 6 infusions before their operation. The goal is to see if the tumors respond enough to allow less extensive surgery, preserving important structures like the eye or nose.
