First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 33 times

Summary

This study looked at whether breathing in nitroglycerin (a medicine that opens blood vessels) is safe and effective for people with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), a condition where lung arteries narrow. Twenty adults with PAH took part. The goal was to see if the drug could widen lung arteries and improve blood flow. This was an early-stage study to gather information, not a treatment trial.
