Heart MRI could unlock secrets of rare cardiomyopathy
NCT ID NCT07351838
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at a recently identified heart condition called non-dilated left ventricular cardiomyopathy (NDLVC), where the heart muscle is abnormal but not enlarged. Researchers will review medical records and heart MRI scans from 1,000 patients to find which scan features best predict serious events like death or need for a heart transplant. The goal is to create a better way to identify high-risk patients and guide their care.
