Can patient guides help more people finish cancer treatment?
NCT ID NCT07014618
Summary
This study aims to see if having patient navigators—guides who help patients through the healthcare system—improves completion rates of radiation therapy for breast and prostate cancer. It focuses on African American, Native American, and Hispanic/Latino patients. Researchers will use surveys to understand treatment barriers and measure if navigation support helps people stick with their prescribed care.
