Summary
This study tested whether patient navigators could help Black breast and prostate cancer patients complete their radiation therapy. Researchers worked with 30 Black patients to understand what barriers prevent treatment completion and whether navigator support makes a difference. The goal was to learn how to improve access to shorter radiation courses that might be easier for patients to finish.
