Summary
This pilot study looked at whether a patient navigator could help Black breast and prostate cancer patients complete a shorter course of radiation therapy. The study enrolled 30 African-American adults with these cancers. Researchers used surveys to understand barriers to care and how navigation might improve access and completion of treatment.
