Sickle cell study aims to uncover disease patterns

Summary

This study follows up to 3,500 people with sickle cell disease to learn more about how the condition progresses and what complications arise. Participants receive their usual medical care outside the hospital and visit the clinic for check-ups and research tests. No experimental treatments are given; the goal is simply to gather information that could improve future care.
