Brain insulin spray tested for memory boost

NCT ID NCT03857321

Summary

This study tested a special nasal spray device designed to deliver insulin directly to the brain. Researchers wanted to see if this method could increase insulin levels in the fluid surrounding the brain and potentially improve memory. The study involved 20 people, some with mild memory problems and some without, to compare the effects of the insulin spray versus a placebo spray.
