Storytelling therapy tested to ease youth mental health crisis in hong kong
NCT ID NCT07231406
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether narrative therapy—a type of counseling that helps people reshape their personal stories—can reduce mental distress, depression, and anxiety in young people aged 12 to 24 in Hong Kong who are struggling with moderate mental health concerns. About 770 participants will be assigned to either six face-to-face therapy sessions or a waitlist. The goal is to see if this approach improves their sense of control and self-identity.
