First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tests a 6-week face-to-face cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBTi) in 770 young people aged 12-24 in Hong Kong who have moderate mental distress and poor sleep. Participants are split into groups that either get the therapy right away or wait. The goal is to see if CBTi improves sleep quality, reduces mental distress, and boosts daily functioning. Results will help shape future mental health support for at-risk youth.
