First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests whether a quick, guided writing exercise called narrative medicine flash-writing can reduce burnout and stress in healthcare faculty. About 60 doctors from internal medicine, surgery, and pediatrics at Wake Forest Baptist will try the writing method. Researchers will measure changes in burnout using a standard questionnaire before and after the program.
