First seen Jan 20, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looks at how the drug letrozole works in postmenopausal women with early-stage, hormone-sensitive breast cancer before they have surgery. About 178 participants will take letrozole for 4 to 24 weeks, and researchers will compare tumor samples taken before and after treatment. The main goals are to understand changes in cancer cells and to check how well patients stick to their medication.
