First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests whether a supplement called NMN, which boosts a natural cell chemical called NAD, can improve kidney health in people with type 2 diabetes and early kidney disease. About 156 adults will take either NMN or a placebo twice daily for 6 months. The main goal is to see if NMN reduces protein in the urine, a key sign of kidney damage.
