First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tests a new drug, QRX3, in 3,000 adults with chronic kidney disease (CKD) whose kidney function is declining. The goal is to see if QRX3 can slow that decline and reduce protein in the urine. Participants must have an eGFR below 60 and a slow rate of decline (less than 20% over the past year). The drug targets a cell process called NAD oxidase to help kidneys work better.
