Scientists seek better yardstick for measuring vital body fuel

NCT ID NCT07416786

Summary

This study aims to find the best way to measure levels of a body chemical called NAD+ in healthy people. Researchers will check NAD+ levels in the blood, urine, and muscles of 48 healthy adults before and after they take an over-the-counter supplement for 30 days. The goal is to create reliable measurement methods for future research, not to treat any disease.
