NCT ID NCT06638463
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether the My Health Coach app can improve quality of life and daily functioning for adults with fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD). Two hundred participants will be split into two groups: one gets the app right away, the other waits 12 weeks. Everyone completes surveys at the start, 6 weeks, and 12 weeks to measure changes in well-being and need satisfaction.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
My Health Coach app (behavioral intervention)
What this could lead to
If it works, this app could offer a simple, self-directed way for adults with FASD to improve their well-being and daily life management.
What could go wrong
This is an early-stage trial with 200 participants, and the app may not produce meaningful improvements. Results rely on self-reported surveys, which can be subjective.
