Music soothes the mind during cancer therapy
NCT ID NCT07464964
Summary
This study tested whether listening to music could help reduce anxiety and distress in men receiving a specific cancer treatment for prostate cancer. Sixty patients were split into two groups: one listened to their choice of instrumental music during treatment, while the other received standard care without music. Researchers measured anxiety and distress levels before and after treatment to see if music made a difference.
