Can your favorite songs ease pain and fear at the Doctor's office?
NCT ID NCT07252648
Summary
This study is testing whether listening to music can help people with long-term pain feel less anxious and experience less pain when they undergo a specific pain treatment procedure. About 110 adults scheduled for these procedures will be randomly assigned to either listen to their own choice of music or receive standard care without music. Researchers will measure anxiety, pain levels, and patient satisfaction to see if this simple, non-drug method provides comfort.
