First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 28, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a 30-minute session of music can help adults recover from heart surgery. Researchers will measure stress hormones, anxiety, pain, and vital signs in 120 patients who listen to music compared to those who receive standard care. The goal is to see if music, a simple and safe activity, can improve the recovery experience after cardiac surgery.
