Music may boost attention and language in stroke survivors with aphasia

Summary

This study tests whether listening to music for 30 minutes each day can improve attention, language, and quality of life in people with aphasia after a stroke. 45 adults who had a stroke at least 6 months ago will be assigned to listen to music, an audiobook, or no intervention for 8 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in attention, language, and well-being before, during, and after the program.
