Your playlist vs. calm tunes: which eases surgery anxiety more?
NCT ID NCT05472909
Summary
This study is testing whether listening to music can help patients feel less anxious during hand surgery performed while they are awake. Researchers are comparing the effect of patients listening to their own choice of music versus a standard set of relaxing music. About 170 adults having this specific type of surgery will participate to see which music option works better for lowering anxiety.
