NCT ID NCT07164521
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026
Summary
This study looked at whether listening to relaxing classical music could help women feel less pain and anxiety after a cesarean delivery. 110 first-time mothers who had a C-section took part. Starting 24 hours after birth, the music group listened to 15 minutes of classical music every hour until the 48th hour. The study measured their anxiety and pain-related thoughts at the 48-hour mark to see if music made a difference.
