Tunes for tummies: music eases Kids' Post-Surgery pain
NCT ID NCT07342751
Summary
This study is testing if listening to music helps children feel less pain and fear when they get out of bed for the first time after abdominal surgery. Researchers will compare 74 children aged 4-6; one group will listen to their favorite music during this process, while the other receives standard care. The goal is to find a simple, drug-free way to help kids recover more comfortably.
