First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tested whether listening to music during wound care can help people with venous leg ulcers feel less pain and anxiety. 97 patients were split into three groups: one listened to Turkish instrumental music, another to Western music without lyrics, and a third had standard care without music. Researchers measured pain and anxiety before, during, and after the wound dressing change, and also asked about patient satisfaction.
