Can a musical metronome in your ear help you walk again?
NCT ID NCT04876339
Summary
This study is testing if adding a special type of musical feedback, called 'sonification,' to standard walking therapy can help people walk better. It will involve 120 people with Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, or who have had a stroke. One group will get standard therapy, while the other gets the same therapy with pleasant, real-time musical cues mapped to their movements to see if it improves walking speed, balance, and reduces fatigue.
