Can a music app soothe chronic pain for people with HIV?
NCT ID NCT07214077
Summary
This study is testing whether a smartphone app that provides personalized music can help people with HIV manage their chronic pain. 60 participants will be randomly assigned to either use the music app daily for 3 months or receive educational materials about pain. The main goal is to see if using the app is practical and acceptable for people, not to prove it relieves pain.
