This early study tests a device called Muse MRgFUS that uses focused ultrasound waves to heat and destroy a portion of a breast tumor without any cuts. Thirty-four women with breast cancer will have part of their tumor ablated before their standard surgery. The goal is to see if the procedure is safe, tolerable, and feasible.
