Scientists probe mystery of muscle loss in cancer survivors

Summary
This study aims to understand why survivors of childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) often experience muscle weakness. Researchers will compare 60 survivors with healthy volunteers using MRI scans, blood tests, and muscle biopsies to examine how cancer treatment affects muscle cell function. The goal is to identify the biological reasons behind muscle problems to inform future treatments.
