Hidden muscle loss in cancer patients: new study seeks answers

Summary
This study aims to find out how many people with stomach or intestinal cancers show early warning signs of muscle loss, known as sarcopenia. Researchers will screen 60 patients using a simple questionnaire before they start cancer treatment and again during treatment. Patients who screen positive may be referred for further nutritional evaluation to help manage their condition.
