First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tests whether showing a short video about anesthesia before a scheduled C-section helps patients understand their options and make more informed decisions. About 70 English-speaking adults will watch the video at least 24 hours before their procedure. Researchers will then measure how well the video improves risk communication and decision-making using a standard survey.
