New drug MTX-101 enters first human tests for type 1 diabetes

Summary

This early-stage study tests a new drug called MTX-101 in healthy adults and people with type 1 diabetes. The main goal is to check for side effects, see how long the drug stays in the body, and learn how it affects immune cells. About 96 participants will receive either a single dose or multiple doses of the drug.
