Summary

This study is developing and testing a new support program called mSTARS for people who misuse alcohol and have been hospitalized for a suicide crisis. The program combines therapy during the hospital stay with a smartphone app to use for 30 days after going home, aiming to teach skills to manage emotions and reduce risk. Researchers are enrolling 10 participants to see if the program is acceptable and helpful.
