Could MS treatments impact future pregnancy? major study investigates

NCT ID NCT07164924

Summary

This study looked at how multiple sclerosis (MS) and the medications used to treat it might affect women's fertility. Researchers analyzed blood samples from over 800 women with MS or similar conditions, aged 18-35, to measure a hormone that indicates ovarian reserve. The goal was to understand if the disease activity or specific treatments could influence fertility, helping doctors better advise patients about family planning.
