New MRI technique may reveal hidden brain activity in MS

NCT ID NCT07510607

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests a new type of MRI that looks at energy use in the brain to see if it can predict how well multiple sclerosis (MS) patients will respond to a common therapy. Researchers will scan 40 adults with relapsing-remitting MS before and after they start treatment. The goal is to find a non-invasive way to monitor disease activity and guide treatment decisions.
