NCT ID NCT04657835

First seen Jan 30, 2026 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a special MRI scan can predict if patients will develop an irregular heartbeat (atrial fibrillation) after heart bypass surgery. About 100 adults scheduled for bypass will get an MRI before surgery and wear a heart monitor for a year. The goal is to find early signs of heart changes that lead to this common complication.
