First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study is testing whether doctors can deliver very focused, high-dose radiation to tumors in the abdomen or chest while limiting damage to nearby organs. The approach uses a special MRI machine combined with a linear accelerator (MR-Linac) to guide the treatment. About 60 people with abdominal or lung cancer will take part to see if this technique is feasible and safe.
