Summary
This study tests giving a short course of focused radiation before breast cancer surgery, using MRI for precise planning. The goal is to treat a smaller area of the breast and possibly reduce side effects. About 39 women with early-stage breast cancer will receive five radiation treatments over 10 days, then have surgery about 5-8 weeks later.
