First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026

Summary

This study tested a new drug called MRG-001 in 10 people who had tummy tuck surgery. The drug is injected under the skin to help stem cells move to the wound and speed healing. Researchers compared the drug to a saltwater placebo to see if it makes scars stronger and less noticeable.
