Summary

This study tests a new MRI method called MR Elastography to measure how muscles and their surrounding tissues move in people with myofascial pain syndrome. Researchers will compare 106 adults with and without chronic pain to see if this technique can spot differences in tissue stiffness. The goal is to better understand the condition, not to provide treatment.
