First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looked at 552 adults with myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN), a type of blood cancer, who also got COVID-19. Researchers wanted to see how often these patients developed dangerous blood clots, like pulmonary embolism. The goal was to understand what factors make COVID-19 worse for people with MPN.
