Natural mouthwashes tested against gold standard for Kids' teeth
NCT ID NCT07197073
Summary
This study tested whether two natural mouthwashes (ozonated olive oil and propolis) work as well as the standard chlorhexidine mouthwash at reducing cavity-causing bacteria in children's mouths. Researchers compared the three mouthwashes in 51 children at high risk for cavities. They measured how well each mouthwash reduced bacteria and plaque buildup over time.
