Mind over muscle: mental rehearsal boosts stroke recovery?

Summary
This study tests whether adding mental practice (motor imagery) to standard physical therapy helps stroke survivors improve arm and hand function. 51 adults who had a stroke at least 3 months ago will be split into three groups: one gets only standard rehab, the others add 15 minutes of motor imagery 3 or 5 days a week for 30 sessions. Researchers will measure changes in arm movement and daily living skills right after treatment and again at 12 weeks.
