First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looked at whether combining physical exercises with mental tasks can improve thinking, balance, and daily function in people who have had a liver transplant. 32 adults over age 50 who could walk on their own took part. One group did standard physical therapy, while the other did exercises that challenged both body and mind at the same time. The goal was to see if this combined approach helps recovery more than physical therapy alone.
