Finding the safest dose of morphine for hip surgery pain

Summary

This study looks at how well different doses of morphine given during spinal anesthesia control pain after total hip replacement surgery. The goal is to find a dose that provides good pain relief for up to 24 hours while reducing the risk of serious side effects like breathing problems. About 120 adults having hip replacement will take part, and their pain levels and side effects will be tracked for 48 hours after surgery.
