NCT ID NCT07207200

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether one hour of morning light therapy each day for four weeks can improve sleep quality and reduce inflammation in adults with ulcerative colitis who have active inflammation and poor sleep. Thirty participants will wear a sleep tracker, complete surveys, and provide blood and stool samples before and after the light therapy. The goal is to see if resetting the body's internal clock can ease IBD symptoms.
